TWO MINUTE INSTANT IMAGES. (iPhone Diaries) Late 2011 - Present

Taking a photo nowadays is almost as easy as whacking a packet of noodles into a bowl and sticking in into the the microwave for dinner.
Okay, well, maybe not as EASY and as yummy as that but you get the gist, yeah?
When i'm not busy carrying around my digital SLR which can be a hefty thing to carry if carried all of the time. I am busy snapping away on my handy-but-why-is-it-made-of-glass-its-a-flippin-phone-not-a-fish-tank iPhone. The following images are a collective of adventures/people i love & places over the past few months which were edited on a few different apps, one including Instagram.

"Maybe it's entirely an artist's eye, patience and skill that makes an image and not his tools. A camera catches your imagination. No imagination, no photo." - Ken Rockwell.

"THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF A CAMERA IS THE TWELVE INCHES BEHIND IT." - ANON

Cheers to noise, colour and the splendour of youth...

"We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to light shining in a dark place, and the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts." 2 Peter 1:19 // The Bogey Hole, Newcastle.

Family photograph #1 - My ma had spent all nighht making this easter hat for parade day. I was quite obviously way cuter and my hat better than any of the other kids. (Kidding... Kinda) Circa 1997.

Family Photograph #2 - My great grandma (Nonna) Circa 1960's, Calabria - Italy.

This is Laura & I. We're quite normal i assure you.

The pines align at Bennetts Wharf/Palm beach.

Getting carried away with colouring string. ( I may or may not have looked as though i had a kind of skin colour disease on my hands days following)

ANIMALS & OCEANS.

Cara after a swim and alot of laughs.

Unsure of what was happening at this point. Poor Billy.

Matt can hold his breath underwater for a full five minutes. (Maybe)

Kaitlin and her new found (frightened) friend.

Cara listening to Matt's grandfather tell stories.

Kaitlin & Matt out on Milton Farm.

Our view before we headed to an underwater cave. Somewhere South...

Matt's Backyard. I never wanted to leave.

BILLY.

That time a goat tried to eat my hand. I was incredibly happy about this.

I wore these blue gummies everywhere. In amongst wedding decorations out on the porch.

On the way to the secret beach, the tree's hid the sky.

Location: Milton Farm, Ulladulla. South Coast. The best coast. The coast where I grew up. The coast with the most. In all seriousness, seriously.
I ventured down here to shoot a friends wedding on the farm on which she grew up. The day before the nuptials, the brother of the bride took a few friends who came down and I to a secret beach (I say 'secret' as my memory of where we actually went is a little hazy. Let's just roll with it.) At this 'secret' beach, he took us to an underwater cave. I wish i had captured this but in order to have done that, my camera would have ended up taking an unwanted dip in the ocean.
Back on the farm everything was just perfect. Peaceful.
Tractors. Goats. HORSES. Endless fields of green. Nostalgia hit. Though i didn't grow up on this farm, and for now the city is home... My roots are plugged into country living. I'll never get sick of places like this. Did i mention you could see EVERY star at night? Almost to the point they were showing off at how many of them could light up the sky all at once. I'm very grateful for that.
Nuptial images coming soon!
Cheers to country livin'

HELLO, CHANGE.

I'VE MADE THE CHANGE.
I have finally moved from TUMBLR to BLOGSPOT...
Having had Tumblr for over a year, it's been a good run. Buuuuuuuut... Being a new year and all, I wanted to give my blog a new lease on life.
It's as though i've been having coffee from Gloria Jeans all this time, only having recently discovered Sonoma, or the likes of Campos Coffee. ( I get a mental caffeine high just saying those cafe names. I'm not obsessed... Nup. Maybe a bit.)

I've upheaved a few, if not many posts from my previous tumblr onto here.
HOORAH.
Let the tumb... I mean blogging begin!

SEVERE CASE OF WANDERLUST.

This project was a result of the following;

1. Having been stuck in the dream-state (i.e day dreaming to the extent it should become a full time job) for far too long,  I decided to make yet another idea reality. (No milk was being thrown this time, Ha)
We all go somewhere when we shut our eyes, landscapes or not – we all each suffer a severe case of wanderlust.
Sometimes, if not always wanting to be elsewhere.
Catch ya in the dream-state.
